Heyington was recognised at the 2022 Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) by winning the multi-residential category.
Hosted at the Timber Yard in Port Melbourne, the 2022 IDEA Gala was held on Thursday 24 November and saw Heyington receive the award for multi-residential design out of a total of 18 shortlisted projects. This award category in particular is a reflection of the development’s qualities of modularity and economy of construction and how the design contributes to the rationing and exploitation of space and the provision of amenity. As highlighted in the judging criteria, absolutely essential to this award is the understanding of how the design reflects its target market demographic.

Heyington is designed with consideration to context, form, materiality and thoughtful landscaping. Sitting comfortably over four levels, the scale references Toorak’s Heritage streetscape, while not shying away from standing strong.
